Description
Die in the Dungeon is a deck-building, turn-based roguelite focused on dice combinations.
Features
- Craft your deck from an ever-growing collection of dice. Every dice has its purpose, with tons of combinations to discover and exploit. On top of that, special properties and upgrades will ensure no single dice feel exactly the same.
- Explore the dungeon and its unwelcoming inhabitants. Forged by strong magic, the walls and floors of the dungeon shift continuously, creating a brand new experience in every run. Thankfully, encounters are not always hostile, but never let your guard down... it’s all a game of risk and reward down here.
- Discover powerful synergies choosing from a myriad of relics. Stack their powers and use them to boost your dice and board slots, multiplying the power of your combinations and becoming unstoppable. But don’t get too greedy, the stronger a relic is, the bigger their drawbacks will affect you and your deck.
Prologue
A free prologue was released on January 12th 2023, showcasing the bedrock upon which we're building the game. This version already offers multiple hours of gameplay, with an unlockable boss fights and new modes.
History
Die in the Dungeon started as an experimental game on itch.io, born from our shared love of deckbuilding roguelites. We were trying to create something similar to our favourites games, but also fresh and different on its own right.
After more than a year of development, several updates, hundreds of positive comments and thousands of 5-star ratings, we finally decided to make the jump to Steam, with the best version of the game we think we can make!
About us
We are three game developers striving to create titles blending innovative ideas with the right amount of traditional gameplay (we believe this is the perfect formula for achieving something great!). After a few sporadic collaborations, we teamed up for Die in the Dungeon and had been working together on the game ever since.
Some previous works include: the arcade, physics-based Super Ness, the puzzle platformer with a dark twist Pitch Blank, and the cute, time-based city building Chibilization. Die in the Dungeon would not have been possible without all those stepping stones!
Monetization Permissions
We allow for the contents of Die in the Dungeon to be published through video brodcasting services for any commercial or non-commercial purposes. Monetization of videos created containing assets from Die in the Dungeon is legally & explicitly allowed by us.
